Oh also played through the Dune games and watched the movies. The books are on my to-do list. How are they?
:iconquel-droma:
Oddly enough I did not play any of the video games, but I heard good things about them. I have played the board game which is awesome.(Yes I am a Super nerd)
As for the books they are excellent most notably in the beginning couple of books. However, being that Frank Herbert died after he got six done. So the last couple have different style of writing because his son Brian Herbert and Kevin Anderson wrote them off of notes and outlines of Frank Herbert.

I would say if you like Science Fiction definitely they are an epic foundation to the SciFi literature world.

Haha, ORSON SCOTT CARD! I think you're one of the few people I've met that like his work. YESsss. I assume you've read through the Ender Game series?
:iconquel-droma:
Yes, I have every single one except the new one, 'Ender In Exile' but I did buy the book and will get to it as soon as I am done 'The Telling'.

I did not particularly like every one of them but I did enjoy a lot of them.
